'De Boerenkrijg' - No. 6741 (Vandenbussche) Semi-double. Trailer. COROLLA: half flared, turned under wavy petal margins; opens light reddish purple (72D); light rose (58D) base; matures light reddish purple (72C); 22mm (7/8") long x 18mm (11/16") wide. PETALOIDS: same color as corolla; 18mm (11/16") wide. SEPALS: half down, tips recurved; rose (54C) tipped pale yellow green (150D) upper surface; light pink (55D) & light apple green (145C) tipped light apple green (145B) lower surface; 30mm (1 3/16") long x 11mm (7/16") wide. TUBE: pnik (52D), striped rose (52B); long, medium width; 45mm (1 3/4") long x 6mm (1/4") wide. STAMENTS do not extend beyond the corolla; pale pink(56D) filaments; light apple green (144D) anthers. PISTIL extends 6mm (1/4") beyond the corolla; light rose (58D) style; white (155B) stigma. BUD is oblong, square. FOLIAGE is dark green (137A) upper surface; medium green (138B) lower surface. Leaves are 64mm (2 1/2") long x 37mm (1 7/16") wide, ovate shaped, serrulate edges, acute tips rounded bases. Veins are light grayish red (182C), stems are plum (185C);branches are plum (185C) & medium green (137D). PARENTAGE: 'Lechlade Rocket' x 'Tubingen 2001'. Natural trailer. Self branching. Makes good basket. Prefers overhead filtered light, cool climate. Best bloom & foliage color in filtered light. Tested 3 years in Londerzeel, Belgium. Distinguised by bloom color.
