| Hello and welcome to
my holiday house. I bought 'Frances Milton' house some years ago
and lived there myself.
Subsequently we moved outside the city walls close to the school where I teach 6 to 12 year olds. I love my city and hope that you share my love for Bruges using my holiday house as base to explore all that it has to offer throughout the year. As a local to Bruges, I know a great deal about the city and the local amenities, please feel free to call me at any time for any assistance or advice that you may need. Yours, Katrien In september 2003 after an extensive renovation of this quaint house in the oldest part of Bruges, I'm delighted to be able to open a holiday house for business. Situated close to the centre of Bruges you are only a short walk away from all of the culture and magnificence that Bruges has to offer. Cycling is a popular way to explore Bruges, and bikes can be hired from a variety of outlets across the city. If you wish to visit other parts of Belgium, Bruges railway station is a short busride away offering easy and reliable travel to all of Belgium's major towns and cities Ghent, Ostend, other coast and beach resorts are only half an hour by car , Brussels is 1 hour away Enjoy yourselves!!

Welcome to my house in the English

I named the house after the 19th century author Frances Milton who made Bruges her home for part of her writing career. Our house is a very sunny, attractive house and is typical of the Brugian building style. With it's step-gable and yellow painted walls, photos of it have been published in many books. The entry
on the first floor gives acces to a toilet and a sitting area with a television.
There is a sofa that
you can transform into a bed.
On the sunny second floor, you will find the living room with an open kitchen and a second toilet. There are two bedrooms, both with washbassins, on the third floor and a communal shower. One bedroom has a double bed, the other a single bed. Under the roof is a very cosy bedroom with a double bed. Between 3th an 4th floor you have a balcony with a lovely view on the Walburga-church. |
