The history of the Flanders Synchro Open
The Flanders Synchro Open is an international synchronized swimming competition for 13 years old and younger. The competition has earned its place on the LEN calendar ever since 1992 and been mentioned during several years in the FINA News as the only competition worldwide for this age category. 34 countries were represented so far, and many of the swimmers who joined us, have participated later in other high level international competitions such as the World Championships and the Olympic Games.
The Flanders Synchro Open was organized for the first time in 1992 and has been organized since that time annually by vzw Olumpia Kortrijk in Belgium, with a synchro tradition since 1977. 2018 is going to be the 27th edition. Interested in joining us this year ? Contact us !
