LEWD ACTS are one of San Diego, CA’s best kept hardcore secrets, but not for long... Californian five-piece playing dirty hardcore/punk that will appeal to fans of PULLING TEETH and the likes. Their brand of raw noise reeks of true soul and stunning originality. As they embrace their pre-1988 punk and hardcore influences, the metal tendencies of today’s hardcore scene are being thrown overboard. Their first release was a demo in 2005, followed by a 7” EP called “On Lonely Nights” on Eating Rats Rcs. in 2006. That same year, they played Sound & Fury Festival! March 2008 saw the release of their “Play Me Something That I Know” cassette, followed in May of the same year by a split 7”EP/CDEP with HOUR OF THE WOLF. Their first full-length album “Lung Patrol” is out now on Deathwish Rcs.!
