  • I added the lyrics for Cyber-Tec Project. Well, at least what I can understand. There are still unfilled parts left. Please help me out with these! Thanks to Sam Kieffer and Jean-Christophe Hemez.

  • The lyrics to 'Brutal' by C-Tec are more complete now. A big thanks to Cammy Andrews!

  • I took away all info concerning the R23 Remix of the song 'Assimilate' by Skinny Puppy. Several people tried to convince me (and they succeeded) Richard 23 didn't do the remix. So, if anyone wants to share his or hers view on this, please do by mailing me.

  • A big thanks to Teemu and Target242 for helping me with the lyrics. 'Soul Manager' is now complete. 'Work 242 N.Off Is N.Off' is a bit more complete. 'Body To Body ('88 Mix)' and 'Commando Remix' are corrected.

  • The lyrics of Cobalt 60 are added. There are a couple of songs that are not fully completed. Who can replace the question-marks and confirm/correct the [] ?

  • Henrik Jensen has temporarily put his version of 'Headhunter 2000' online. It's the Energized Mix and it's done by Filter Section and Birmingham 6. Check it out here!

  • Iris Light Records has also released a version of 'Re:Boot Live'; apparently, it wasn't yet released in the UK. The release contains all 15 tracks.

  • There is a new fan/tribute album prepared at the moment. It will be entitled 'Re:Cover' and contains covers/remixes of Front 242 songs, mostly done by people of the 242rants list. Credit to Karl Herrebout,  Target 242 and others...

  • The performance at Eurorock was pretty good, maybe not their best, but still great! Setlist was (probably not in this order) : Happiness, Motion, Moldavia, Melt, Lovely Day, Im Rhythmus Bleiben, Crapage, Body To Body, Religion, Headhunter, Welcome To Paradise, Animal, Funkahdafi, First In/First Out. There was a guitar featured on some of the songs, like Lovely Day, Funkahdafi, ...

  • I picked this up on Eurorock : a Zillo compilation, entitled 'Dark Summer'. It contains yet another (exclusive) remix of 'Headhunter 2000', this time by Blind Vision.

  • It seems the new LaTchak single 'Carwash 2.0' is out on Roadrunner Arcade (Belgium) and Mostiko Records (International). The album Business Musical is to be expected for September. This newsbit was posted by Mike Ramirez. More info will follow...

  • The official Front 242 site is redesigned and hopefully we can expect an online Transmission 242 page soon. Big thanks to Dimitri for all his work!

  • I added the lyrics of the Front 242 songs starting with the letters N through Z. So all songs are now accounted for (hopefully), but not all lyrics, of course. That's where you come in, let's see if you can replace the question marks by the correct lyrics and further complete them. Thanks in advance!

  • The remix that Front 242 did for Praga Khan's song Lonely is supposed to be released on a limited (Belgian) version of their new album 'Mutant Funk'. Well, I listened to it and I can't find any trace of that remix, maybe there are more limited versions of that album here, I dunno...

  • There are a few tracks by Nude available at Reboost. They also announce a maxi coming out in August. I don't know if Daniel B. is still in this project, but he was when they released the available tracks on compilations.

  • I added the 7" - version of 'Front 242 : Rhythm Of Time' . It contains a 7" version of the song and the Messengers From Neptune Mix by Orb. Also the 7" - version of 'Front 242 : Interception' . The versions of Quite Unusual and Agressiva on this release can not be found on any other format. For some strange reason, I missed these releases earlier.

  • Basic Unit Prod is releasing a compilation in May, entitled 'The Ultimate EBM, Industrial and Synthpop Compilation', featuring an exclusive track by Front 242. I don't know yet what this is gonna be. (SideLine)

  • I've added 'Claire Voyant : Time Again - A Collection Of Remixes' . It contains a remix by Front 242. I'm still checking who exactly did the remix. Can anyone help me with this?

  • I received the maxi-version of 'Latchak : If This Is Love...' .

  • The show at the AB (12.02.2000) was great! They played the following songs (but not in this order) : Happiness, Masterhit, Motion, Moldavia, Melt, Soul Manager, No Shuffle, Im Rhythmus Bleiben, Crapage, Body To Body, Religion, Headhunter, Welcome To Paradise, First In / First Out, Lovely Day and Animal.   • I received the 'We Came To Dance 2000' compilation, which contains a remix of 'Headhunter 2000' by Aghast View.

  • Now available on the sounds page : Birmingham 6 with 'Little Demon (Let Your Anger Unfurl Mix)', remixed by Godheads. Lyrics and vocals by Jean-Luc De Meyer.

  • Some contact information (Transmission 242) can be found on the band-page . They will be online in the near future... (via the official page).

  • It seems the band will also perform at EuroRock this year (Aug.2000 / Neerpelt, Belgium), a festival which will last 4 days.

  • Transmission has released a new TransNews-Letter (nr. 3), here is a summary :

    • Daniel B. and Patrick Codenys did mixes for Praga Khan's single 'Lonely'.
    • Patrick is working on a remix for the band Claire Voyant, from L.A.
    • Male Or Female is back. It now consists of Daniel B., Patrick Codenys, Amy Chandler and Elko Blyweert. Some tracks have been issued through Cube (Juno Reactor). Performances were held in Japan and Belgium. A full cd can be expected soon.
    • LaTchak (Richard 23 and Jean-Pierre Everlast) released its first single 'If This Is Love...' with several mixes. A second single can be expected soon, before the album, which will be released in February 2000.
    • Grisha Zeme (Daniel B. and Patrick Codenys) keeps remixing and experimenting, no album is to be expected.
    • C-Tec will release the new album 'Cut' in February 2000.
    • A new branch of Transmission is opened in New York.
    • Front 242's 2000 shows will contain new visual effects, new material (new songs or new reworked tracks).
    • The revised official site will be up soon with a section of Transmission.

  • I checked out the Claire Voyant - news and found that in February 2000, the band will release a remix-album, containing a remix by Front 242. It is entitled 'Time Again : A Collection Of Remixes' and will also feature remixes by LUXT, Love Spirals Downward, Das Ich, Cut.Rate.Box, Covenant, VNV Nation, Haujobb, Cleen, Francis Preve, etc...
