DoKS
DoKS, the Document and
Knowledge Sharing application, is a web application that lets one
organize and share digital content.
DoKS was developed to manage and publish the Electronic
Theses and Dissertations (ETD) of the Flemish colleges. Currently it
is being deployed in about 10 schools
I started to develop DoKS in 2002 at the Katholieke Hogeschool Kempen as the
only developer. In 2004 the project was handed over, but I remained
an active committer.
The main technologies/frameworks used by DoKS are:
- Hibernate
- Struts
- Velocity
- Aspectwerkz AOP
- Tomcat
Home Automation Application
In my spare time I work on a Java application for controlling
KNX domotics (former EIB).
The goal is to be able to control all the lights an the
roll-down shutters in my house with my PDA. Furthermore I want to
schedule events in a calendar application like Outlook.
