The Drones Club of Belgium

The Drones Club was founded in 1989 by four friends who shared an interest in the life and works of the English writer P.G. Wodehouse. Today, there are about 60 members.

The name " Drones Club " refers to a club of the same name in Wodehouse's work. It is based in the heart of London and consists of approximately 140 gentlemen.

The Drones Club of Belgium's main objective is to promote an interest in Wodehouse's work. But, unlike other Wodehouse Societies, we also focus on the Victorian-Edwardian age in general. The members meet every first Tuesday of the month, at the Millfleet Hall, which is the clubhouse in Herselt (Molenvloed-Venneweg 2), a country house on the borders of Hageland and Kempen, and the Langdonken scenic area.

Every year there are at least three major activities, including dinners, excursions, lectures, debates, alternative hunts and concerts.

The Drones Club of Belgium is on very friendly terms with other Wodehouse clubs abroad, esp. the Dutch, English, Swedish, American and Russian Wodehouse Societies.
