Hurricane
I of RAF 274 Sqn (s/n unknown) Late
1940 Historical
skin This aircraft is based on a picture in the book
Hurricanes over Tobruk by Brian Cull and Don Minterne. The
picture shows a rare view of the NH codes which soon gave way to a
painted lightning flash through the fuselage roundel. The aircraft
does not carry the individual code letter. The serial number is
illegible, but Z4312 was a Hurricane that served with 274 Sqn at
the time.

nose and leading edges of the wings have been painted in a lighter
shade of Sand and Green splotches to simulate Italian aircraft
when flying head-on at low altitude.
