May I present myself ...

I'm John and I've been married to Jenny for 50 years (October 2011). We live in ‘the Meetjesland' a historical region in the north-west of the province of East Flanders in Belgium, on the frontier where hundreds of years ago the sea brought in his clay

One of my hobbies is photography, mostly of the Flemish countryside; it's what is most important to me, but a nice interior of a church or a building is always a challenge.

Bruges and Ghent are the two cities that are the closest to where I live. They have a history that inspires me to take interesting pictures.

Ghent is a city with a valuable historic past and who doesn't want to visit Bruges, a small city with a fabulous history?
