This
is my little bike.... Itīs called BBIII (Big Blue III), you might
guess why itīs called no. 3....... Indeed I drove two blue ZX9Rs before this one - the first one was a ī99 model which I got after parking my lime green ī98 ZX9R into a VW bus. The driver had not seen me until my helmet and I came through his side window. Luckily for me the damage to myself was not too bad, but the poor ZX9 was totally wrecked. The blue ī99 model (BB) was a good replacement though, until.......I lost this one in Eupen, after my front wheel started sliding. Again my pillion and myself came off rather undamaged, but the poor bike hit the curb and got a bit bended. The bike was totaled. Well, life is wonderful and I got a ī00 model, blue Kawa ZX9R (BBII). Although it was faster than the previous models, it was not as comfortable any more, but I was still able to lift my belly onto the tank. Then I decided to emigrate into Belgium, and I had to get a bike with a Belgian license plate - here it is: BBIII |
The Ducati Experience This year (2008) I bought a new Ducati. It was after I'd worked on the 748 for a while, replaced parts and still couldn't get the machine to run reliably. In a Skype call with an American Ducati rider, who had given good tips for trying the 748 to work properly, I learned that also he had solved his Ducati problems..... He sold this 1995 748 and bought a 1098S.... Well, I don't have that much money, so I needed to think of a different solution. And here it is: I also sold my 748 and bought a 1098.  |
