Superior Sound - The common complaint with the Lotus Elise 2 is it's 'tinny' sound. They have eradicated this.
This System sounds phenomenal. Using octave band frequency monitoring techniques, they have been able to develop a System which produces the Larini 'Note' under acceleration as opposed to the resonance,
drone and excessive volume, often present in other performance systems.
This System does have more volume than the original but it is not offensive.
The volume increases with revs so as not to intrude into the cabin, but sounds fantastic when 'pressing on',

Catalyst replacement pipe
This part replaces the original catalyst which gives you more bhp and a beautiful sound.
Unfortunately, this part is forbidden in Belgium for non-track use because the exhaust will be off spec. (CO2, NOx,...)
When you replace your cat by a link pipe, I advise you to place a mil eliminator as well.
When sometings goes wrong on the engine, you will still notice it. Otherwise your "Check Engine" or Service Engine Soon" will always be on, and you won't have the opportunity of being alerted if something more serious is wrong with your vehicle.

Breathing is essential to the 'K' series. 90% of the modifications are to the head cam and induction system.
Double the standard horsepower is achievable from these modifications. The only way to improve horsepower is
to get more air /fuel into the combustion chamber which in turn means you need to get more air out.
