Software

To test the computer use the IBM advanced diagnostics discette , here image of version 2.07 atdg207.exe  This is a self extracting exe file You need no software to make the disk .Just run this file under Windows XT and it will make a bootable floppy disk in your A-Drive . If your A-Drive is a 1.44 Mb type , format first a 720K floppy , leave it in the A: drive before running the program . This 720K floppy is logically just the same as a 360K floppy or drive only it has 80 in stead of 40 tracks , so you can use diskcopy to make a 360K disk .If you have troubles , just send me a e-mail and i will send you the 51/4" floppy by post.

see DAVES OLD COMPUTERS - Disk/Software Image Archive for information on image files

Both disks are 360K format boot disks that are read by the 1.2Mb floppy drive.
