My machine running IBM exploring the XT computer  program

I put an aditional Ram Card to be able to run the program checkit- rom date=10/27/82

Hardware

Everything on this computer is 100% original as sold by IBM from 12 august 1981 on (except additional ram card)

At the backside you have two connectors , one for the keyboard and one for the casette recorder

What is the differance between an IBM original  PC and XT motherboard ?

Distance between slots is much greater than in a XT machine

PC-motherboard (2 swith blocks) This is the first board with 16K ram chips gives a max of 64K  ram on board

XT Motherboard (1 switch block) This is the first XT board with 64k ram chips gives a max of 256k ram on board
