We have the pleasure to present the first BOURBON VANILLA ( Planifolia) curing center located under the tropical sun of Malindi. MALINDI, tropical paradise, situated on the North Coast of KENYA, offers the best sun-drying and curing conditions in this part of East Africa thanks to its coastal tropical climate.
Our Vanilla, that is cured with a lot of care and professionalism,has a high VANILIN content of 3,5% on dry basis. Its actual origin is Western Kenya and Uganda. No pesticides or fertilizers are used; a RICH BALANCED 100% ORGANIC MULCHING providing all necessary nutricients to the vanilla vines in view to obtain full flavour is our secret.
Our beans, processed by traditional adapted Bourbon method makes them flexible and brown to black in color. Only matured and over-matured beans are selected for curing.
Natural vanilla fragrance and flavour is unique because of its 250 different components. Artificial vanilla only contains one. Therefore only natural vanilla is able to give your recipes all satisfaction.
