Periodicals

For these publications I apply the same criteria as for the books: I must have read several copies before they are mentioned in this list...

  • NLP World, published 3 times a year
by G Peter Winnington, Les 3 Chasseurs, 1413 ORZENS, Switzerland,
    Tel +41 (21) 88 777 21 - Fax +41 (21) 88 779 76

An INDEPENDENT magazine with some scientific aspirations. Contains articles about new research, book reviews and some ads for upcoming NLP-training. There is also a Web-page. If that's a recommendation: I pay for a subscription myself and I regularly contribute articles.

  • RAPPORT (British): 4 Issues a year. subscription: £35 in Europe.
    (see www.ANLP.org).

An INDEPENDENT Publication. published by the British Association for NLP, the only NLP association in the world that is really professionally and successfully ran. People for outside the UK should read it more, especially now that you no longer have to be a member of ANLP to get it. Contains a training agenda of NLP courses (mainly those going on in Britain). This is another magazine to which I have a paid subscription, and yes: I've been writing a couple of articles for them as well.

A well-known publication, with a history that contains some flaws. Probably the largest number of readers. Currently owned by an NLP institute but the redaction seems quite independent. Printed on cheap paper. The articles tend to be less "academic" and shorter than what you'll find in RAPPORT and NLP World. Contains a training agenda of NLP courses (mainly those going on in the US). I gave up reading it.

Multimind is a publication the German speaking NLP community can be proud of. It is also a good source if you want to know where to find some (German-spoken) NLP-training. The publisher is a strong pillar for bringing out the news of NLP in that part of the world: they are also the ones that took care to have most of the basic NLP-books translated.
