FUELBLOODED - OFF THE FACE OF THE EARTH

MY KINGDOM MUSIC

Metal To Infinity

Fuelblooded comes from our neighbouring country Holland and is formed back in early 2002. Right from the start, Fuelblooded got a lot of appreciation and dignity because of their endless ways of talent. Listen up - during their very first days of existence, the band already shared the stage with the great Arch Enemy among others.

First real shot from these guys was a debut effort called “Inflict The Inevitable” released worldwide through US record label Copro Records. Nothing but positive response to this release – the worldwide Metal community saw that it was good and screamed out for more. Fuelblooded delivered the very best in Death / Thrash Metal which led to multiple concerts along with other greats like Forbidden, Death Angel, The Haunted, Six feet Under,…

Clear is that Fuelblooded hasn’t miss their start – on the contrary, they were dealing with a so called dream scenario… all went very well and the story continued as time passed by. At the beginning of 2006, former singer Vital Welton left the ranks and had been replaced by Peter Brinkman. Plans for a new sophomore effort became reality after signing a deal with My Kingdom Music. Works in the studio belongs to the past – Fuelblooded’s new album entitled “Off The Face Of The Earth” is about to unleash… I’ve received an advantage promo disc to discuss what the album has to offer.

Let me start with the production of this product – I can make it short by telling that you won’t find a better sound quality like this. It’s quite amazing how good the CD sounds – heavy and clear, loud as can be… awesome job! About the songs and the style Fuelblooded brings on, I can use the word WOW basically. One song after another, “Off The Face Of The Earth” reflects a band with a whole bunch of technical skills within their might. Without a doubt, best nowadays Death / Thrash Metal album at the moment (and probably of 2010). Coming from The Netherlands, Fuelblooded takes you by the throat right from the beginning til the biiter end.

First on, singer Peter Brinkman acts quite unbelievable… one moment he uses deep dark death grunts with aggressive outbursts – the other minute he appears in a totally different way while using a loud and very clear yet powerful, excellent vocal use. According to myself, I’d like to prefer the clear and standard vocal delivery but in the end, Peter can do whatever he wants, it all fits perfectly – this is top notch! Also very interesting element to enjoy with full force are the technical guitars. Both guitar players are from a very high calibre, believe me on my word. Outstanding riffs and brilliant shred tactics (in the vein of Michael Amott), as a guitar freak myself – I really have a real good time listening to all these magical moves. Bass and drum lines in perfect harmony… not one single reason to complain, I'm surprised and impressed with the final result of “Off The Face Of The Earth”.

All the songs have great rhythms with a lot of tempo changes, much variation regarding the vocal duties, almighty guitar tactics, … I think I can shut down my review with an extremely good feel. Not necessary to mention the songs I like or not – keep in mind, there are only great songs to enjoy! Once again, brilliant album from a combo out of The Netherlands – loaded with the most gifted skills, “Off The Face Of The Earth” is a perfect example of how modern / nowadays Death / Thrash Metal should be played. Again… top-notch! Watch for Fuelblooded at: http://www.myspace.com/fuelblooded
