GALLOWS END - NEMESIS DIVINE
FARVAHAR RECORDS / METAL REVELATION
Metal To Infinity
Gallows
End from Sweden is about to unleash their first full-length album through Ohio
based label Farvahar Records – Nightmare Records will take care of the
worldwide distribution. While the clock goes countdown to the official release
planned for June 25 – 2010, I already received the promo to write down my
opinion on the 12 songs adding to the tracklist of Gallows End’s new effort
entitled “Nemesis Devine”.
Vocalist,
guitar player Thord Klarström appeared on the Metal horizons as a one-man
project but later on, he decided to set up a full member band. He found what he
was looking for – a bunch of great skilled musicians to complete a full
establish formation. The band recorded a 3-song demo back in 2007 and due to the
great response on this product, Gallows End was more motivated than ever before
which led to the creation of this new album.
I’ve
heard the entire album a few times until now and have to admit that I really
amused myself with their style of music so called Traditional Heavy Metal!
Following this form of music since decades, damn right it still feels good
hearing screaming guitars and pure Heavy Metal riffs as it should be! Founder /
singer and guitarist Thord recorded, mixed and mastered the new album and
deserves my dignity completely. Yeah, I like a production like this for sure…
not too polished result to bring on a true Classic Heavy Metal feel… again,
just love it!
Ultimate
clear but strong vocals, roaring and screaming guitars including excellent
melodic guitar solo’s and killer drums / bass lines to the extreme delivering
the evidence that Gallows End is a real good band. They’ll definitely find a
way straight to the heart of every Classic Heavy Metal defender… and they will
conquer their souls of steel undoubtedly! Describing themselves as bringers of
Maiden, Accept or Priest influences – totally agree with that but I’d rather
like to say that Gallows Pole is more than that. Besides these influences,
they’re able to make songs with own ideas and pure passion for Heavy Metal
music as well.
Stand
strong to survive the entire tracklist of “Nemesis Divine” – with a
running time of nearly one hour, this product is mainly a must-have for those
into non-false Heavy Metal pure! Very good release to me – check out Gallows
