METAL FORCE - METAL REBIRTH

METAL FORCE MUSIC
Metal To Infinity
An
album that starts with a high scream and heavy loaded guitars… Without it my
life wouldn’t
have any sense! I know, this sounds depressing but in my professional
life I’m living dark times. Anyway, don’t you get a kick out from a high
pitched scream? I do and to me it’s always a sign to pay double attention to
what I am listening to. I know, it’s so damn ‘Eighties’ but I am still
addicted to it!
Metal
Force is a band from Chicago / USA and believe me or not, only a few tunes were
necessary to discover Metal Force is a pure US Metal band. Old Metal Church, old
Armored Saint and tons of other bands can be mentioned when we talk about Metal
Force. This album breathes everything Eighties Metal is all about and although
nothing innovating can be found on this disc I’ve enjoyed “Metal Rebirth”
very much. Clichés enough on this one but all played with pride and
glory! Thankfully the clichés are musical wise and the band picked up ideas
that makes this kind of music so irresistible. “Chronicles Of Death” for
example is an outstanding song that reminds me to those Godlike semi-ballads
Metal Church ever wrote. Metal Force varied
this track on the right way so it became a mind blowing pure US Power
Metal track. This is METAL! Vocals, rhythms, riffs, solos…. Awesome job guys!
I
hope you don’t have the idea that Metal Force isn’t able to deliver
surprises. Oh yes, this band is strong enough to do so. The ingredients are
known but listen to “Straight To The Gates” and you’ll discover surprising
– yet mind blowing – vocal performances by Jason Russo. His high screams on
the one side, evil low voices on the other are fantastic. This is, by the way,
the best song on this release. This track contains thrashy riffs, speeds up the
rhythms and lifts the band up to a higher level! The epic “Garden Of Stone”
surprises me again, convinces me that this band is amazingly strong. The
used ingredients of this menu are so well cooked that I really love the
taste of it!
I
discovered this band before on the Internet and they pleased me a lot. Watching
the band’s pictures in the booklet it seems normal these guys play this kind
of music because I’m quite sure they are children of the Eighties Metal
movement. This is a very good release that Heavy and Power Metal fans ‘pur
sang’ really should check out.
My Points: 85 / 100 (Review by Officer Nice)
