11/10/2011 – Thoughts Of Metal found a new homeI've been thinking about re-designing the site, but due to other activities - such as my own band SCUTIGERA - this probably won't happen. Since several weeks, Thoughts Of Metal has found a new home at Metal-Load.com. This version of the site will still exist, but from now on I'll post new reviews, interviews, gig reports at Metal-Load.com.
Two days ago Dave Softee from Metal Meltdown had a long interview with Bod, the drummer and co-founder of the British Thrash Metal band ANIHILATED. You can relisten to the podcast at this location. ANIHILATED released a new album in 2010 under the title "Scorched Earth Policy". The review was added at this location.
It seems the url www.thoughtsofmetal.be.tt fails to show the site. But fear not, the pages are still there. Just use this link, as the aformentioned one covers it. Yep, free urls are nice... as long as they work, hehehe. Or you can also reach me on MySpace and Facebook (personal page and website page).
Today a press conference was held by MACC mainman Brecht Debrouwere to present the Metal Against Child Cancer festival, which will take place in Deerlijk, Belgium, on the 5th of December 2009. The chosen venue is De Wieke and the first of six bands will hit the stage at 18h00. Considering this is the first edition of the festival, the number of bands has been kept low and that also counts for the entry price (6 EUR). Read more at this location.
