We were looking for a dog that doesn't moult. After a long search we found him, the Spanish Water Dog.
We didn't know that such a dog exist, but it does. No moulting at all, this perro.

He is very faithful, cheerfull, laborious, brave and well balanced. He has a great learning ability, extraordinary understanding, adjustable to the situations and temperaments. He is used as shepherd dog, hunting dog, guard dog, family dog and assitent to the fisherman.

The presence of this water dog in the Iberian Peninsula is most ancient. Its most dense population is in Andalusia where he is used as a shepherd dog, and where he has been known for centuries as the "turkish dog".
Its characteristics, most particularly the quality of his coat (very woolly indeed), are adapted to the variation of humidity and drought of the marshy regions, which qualifies him as a shepherd dog and auxiliary to the hunters of wild fowl and fishermen in those regions.

It is also a great family dog.
