Marira Henrica Octavia was born on July 23rd, 1904 in Hoepertingen, Borgloon. Marira Henrica Octavia's father was Joannes Lambertus Bierwerts and her mother was Maria Louisa Creten. Her paternal grandparents were Joannes Bierwerts and Anna Christina Bas; her maternal grandparents are Petrus Joannes Creten and Anna Elisabeth Benaets. She had nine brothers and three sisters, named Hubertus Josephina, Aloïsius Arnoldus, Pieter Arnold, Joannes Josephus, Joannes Aloïsius - Ludovicus, Joannes Josephus, August, Marie Walter, Maria Armand, Maria Catharina, Genoveva Amelia and Maria Elisabeth. She was the youngest of the thirteen children. She died at the age of 86 on April 8th, 1991 in Tongeren.-
