Ben Minnaert is currently working as a researcher and lecturer at the University College Odisee, KU Leuven Association.
He received the master's degree Engineering - Physics in 2003 and the PhD degree in Engineering in 2007, both from Ghent University.
In 2006, he obtained the Qualified Teacher's Degree for Secondary Education. He followed his teaching passion by starting in 2008 at the College University Ghent.
In 2015, he joined the DRAMCO research group at the Department of Electrical Engineering - KU Leuven. In 2018, he obtained a permanent position as researcher and lecturer at the University College Odisee, KU Leuven Association.
Currently, his research focusses on wireless power transfer, energy efficiency, embedded systems, wireless sensor networks and IoT-applications.
