One of the most exciting gaming experiences is the playing
of boardgames. Not the most well-known such as Risk,
Monopoly, etc., but the more strategic historical and
fantasy boardgames. There is a great variety of very good games,
though most are not so well known.
First of all, there are a variety of categories.
There are the historical boardgames, such as The
American civil War, Age of Imperialism, Axis and Allies, etc..
that specifically recreate the situations of for example
World War II, various past wars throughout our history
(and covering all ages).
A second category are the fantasy boardgames, that are
not based on our own history, but rather on the history
of fictional worlds. Examples include Battlemist,
Lord of the Rings, Talisman, etc...
A third category are the more "fun" board and non-collectable
cardgames. The subjects of such games can
vary widely, such as shoot-them-up games (yes, without
computers), robot race games, mythical puzzle games, etc..
All of these games are maybe not so popular as Risk or
Monopoly, but for real gamers who want a bit (or a lot) of
complexity, these games can offer really exciting experiences.
In the store we have a selection of various games.
With the pictures below we hope to introduce a few of these
games, but there are many many more of course.
Many of the games shown offer many hours of entertainment.

This is a historical wargame (WW II), where you play either Germany and Japan or United States, Russia and United kingdom. | Non-collectable card games are a bit like boardgames without the board, and can often be great fun. The game on the picture is Star Munchkins. |
