Here some response from Don (Virginia, US)

I bought the Moke @ Wire Wheel Classics in Vero Beach, Florida, two years ago; one from a car show this past Fall

I will probably start the restoration this Fall, and it will be a complete “rotisserie” style, with a revolving frame similar to the one that is included in your website. I will keep a detailed photo diary of the restoration, and will send it to you for your website. I intend on changing engines and transmissions from the current 998cc engine with its’ 4 speed, to either a 1275cc or what I would really like is the 1312cc with the 5 speed that Mini Mania offers http://www.minimania.com/web/Item/MMKT1383/InvDetail.cfm . With 100+ horsepower, and an overdrive for highway driving, this would really be the best combination.

I have a friend that is in the process of starting a Moke rental business in a retirement village in Mexico. If he is successful, I will get him to send a picture of his “fleet” for inclusion on your website. It was through a similar Moke rental business in the Bahamas that I became familiar with them, some 30+ years ago. Since then I have also rented Mokes in St. Barts, although it has been a few years since I was there. Sadly, I hear that they are now being phased out because of the lack of parts, and are being replaced with more modern Japanese cars. All the more reason to keep our Mokes on the road!
