Comments about Wikipedia

Wikipedia is also called a Free Encyclopedia. That terminology is correct. The basic problem is many people contribute to Wikipedia, all with good intentions, but the major result is that many articles suffer a common goal. Some look like a quilt.

Anyone can modify each article anonymous. I do not understand why this is possible. Why not use your full name ?

The following articles are discussed in alphabetical order:

  1. Astrology
  2. Chaos Theory
  3. Determinism
  4. Inflation Cosmology
  5. Length Contraction
  6. Multi Processors and Parallel Programming
  7. Relativity of Simultaneity
  8. P versus NP problem
  9. Threads and Threading

Reflection

Many articles start with a lack of definition or the defintion is not clear. When you do that to write a good conherent article with many contributors is very difficult. The overall result for certain articles is mediocre.

Suppose for a certain subject there are two opinions, what will happen? If one side expresses his opinion the other side will modify it and so on. The only solution is to express both opinions. That means selecting the road with the least resistance, implying mediocrity.
