Brussels:
1) Neerpede :The very known site of Neerpede is located in Anderlecht [Brussels]. The site is divided in 4 areas of which 2 with concrete pylons supporting the highway (Brussels Ring). To reach it with public transportation, you need to take the bus 46 [STIB line] direction Moortebeek and step off at station "Marius Renard". If the subway is easier to catch for you, you can go till Station "St Guido(n)"(Do not try to hit the subway lay up over there, the last people who tried it get busted over there :-/ ) and take the line 46 just in front of the station...At the end of the year (november), you'll be able to take the subway till station "Carême or Eddy Merckx" (it depends which name they 'll give to it !!) to reach the site but on the other side....That's the place where, if you take a look at the bridges over the railways, you'll find 2 more nice areas with walls along the tracks.....Just next to the Cora Shopping. If you are lucky and get a car, take the Ring of Brussels (highway around Brussels) and go out at exit n° 15 (Neerpede). Have fun over there and watch for cops anyway cause some guys were very lucky with Police some others not... - 2) L'Arsenal / Arsenaal : This nearly new place is situated on the Louis Schmidt Boulevard (next to the old military barracks). You've also 2 areas over there. One is located outside, on the corner of the Louis Schmidt Boulevard and the Chaussée de Wavre/Waversesteenweg. You can't miss it, you'll see the walls easily.....
When you're in front of the walls on the Boulevard, walk for a couple of minutes to the left (direction Meiser), you'll find another place, inside this time, with silver pieces in front of the building....To reach there by public transportation, you have to take the subway till Hankar (on the Chaussée de Wavre) or till Petillon (on the Louis Schmidt Boulevard)...Some tram and bus lines are also crossing the place, i.e. 23, 34 and 90 (step off at Arsenal)
But watch out, this site is not a legal site.... - 3) Tulipes / Tulpen : This one is a small place but a cool wall to paint during the night along the tram tracks even when it's raining. It's a couple of small bridges in the city of Kraainem. To reach this place, you need to take the tram 39 [Direction Ban Eik] and step off at Tulipes/Tulpen. By car, take the ring (again) and go out at exit n°1 or n°2 (direction Kraainem).
5) Park Orban / Lenterik : This site is not that known by is also nice....It's the same kind of place as Neerpede but the concrete pylons are bigger and higher. The pnly thing is that you can only paint 4 pylons. But, on each one, you can paint with 3 guys on each big side and 1 or 2 guys on the small sides... I would go to this place during the summer or when it's raining.....Reach it by public transportation is not an easy way if you're not from Brussels. Anyway, take the line 47 till the end called "Lenterik" and the place is located just under the big Vilvoorde bridge of the Ring along the Willebroek Canal/Kanaal.Have fun and watch out again because even if it seems cool, it's not legal !
Charleroi: One of the best Belgian hall of fames. Nice full color productions en lots of space. Abandoned pre/metro lines and stations, def. worth a visit.
