At the end of the group phase, teams will be ranked according to their number of victories. In case of a tie, we will look at the difference of the number of goals scored and conceded per team.

The best two teams from each group will be selected for the first stage of tournament A (aka. winners’ tournament). Symmetrically, the last two (or three for group E) teams of each group will populate the first round of tournament B (aka. consolation tournament).

## Match results

There aren’t any fixed hours for the games but we suggest you to play during lunch break or an afternoon break. Also take into account that the Hideout closes at 6 p.m.

Please send us the scores by e-mail after each match.

Columns “score x.2” and “score x.3” are relevant when more than one game was played for a given match. If that’s the case, we will consider the average difference of the scored/conceded goals over the 2 or 3 concerned games to resolve ties in the ranking.

# Rules

• Start each point from the mid-field players (5 players rod) of the team who loses the last point. For the first ball, the team on the ‘balls’ side can start. You can pick sides randomly (with a coin or something else).

• If you score from the 5 players, the point is not valid and the defense can restart the point from one of their corners. If any player deflects a shot/goal from the 5 players, it still doesn’t count.

• If the ball goes out of the field, the defense (the team who didn’t send the ball outside) restarts the point from one of their corners.

• If the ball goes “in & out” of the goal, it’s -1 for the ‘lucky’ team who concedes the goal and the point can go on. So if the ball goes in, out and - with the spin or because of the goal keeper - in again, it’s +1 for the team who scores and -1 for the other team. It is valid only for positive score, you will not go below 0.

• If the ball can’t be touched by any team in the middle of the game (between the mid-field players), the ball is launched randomly in the middle of the field, between the mid-field players.

In that case, the ball must be touched by one of the 10 players (2 lines of 5 players) in the center of the field before to be touched by any other player. If it is not the case, you must restart the ‘random throw’.

• If the ball can’t be touched by any team in the remaining part of the field, the ball is pushed to the closest corner in order to give it to the defense.

• The winner is the first team reaching 10 with two points ahead, so e.g. 10-9 is not good. Moreover, if both teams agree before the match, you can do 2 matches (3 in case of tie) and switch team side after each match. Please, if you want to do it, check before if no other team are waiting for a kicker table.

• You can’t do more than 360 degrees with your player while shooting.

• You can switch your position inside a team (attack or defense) only once a match. However, your starting position can be different for each game.
