Ich möchte an dieser Stelle an den Legationsrat Emil Krebs erinnern. Er zählt zu
den bedeutendsten Sprachgenies aller Zeiten. In Deutschland wurde über ihn in
letzter Zeit schon mehrfach berichtet. Ich verweise auf Wikipedia "Emil Krebs".
Sein Gehirn wird noch heute im Sprachforschungszentrum der Heinrich Heine
Universität, Düsseldorf untersucht (Prof Dr. Amunts). Seine umfangreiche
Privatbibliothek über 3.500 Schriften in 120 Sprachen befindet sich seit 1930 in
der Nationalbibliothek Washington. Ich selbst bin im Besitz umfangreicher
Berichte von Zeitzeugen und Privatbriefen.

Johan, nu ik bijna twee jaar in Egypte woon, zou ik graag nog eens
terugblikken op je cursussen.De cursus van het eerste jaar is cruciaal geweest
om het Arabisch te leren kennen in al zijn facetten, en helpt me nu om
structuren in de spreektaal te herkennen. Het tweede en derde jaar hebben me
vertrouwen gegeven om te converseren en te lezen. De andere buitenlanders die
hier wonen leren spreken in 'woordjes' maar kunnen geen zinnen vormen. Bovendien
hebben zij het lastig om de verkeersborden en straatnamen te ontcijferen
(kinderspel voor mij!). Het meest lonende ondervind ik als kinderen me iets
zeggen of vragen en ik kan hen een antwoord geven! Het Arabisch is en blijft een
moeilijke taal, maar met de basis die jij en Hemmat me hebben meegegeven kan ik
verderbouwen aan het verwerven van de taal. Mensen zonder voorkennis blijven ter
plaatste trappelen, omdat ze niet eens weten waar een Arabisch woord begint of
eindigt. Ik pluk nog dagelijks de vruchten van je cursussen! Bedankt!

Dag Johan, onlangs waren wij met een paar van het 3e jaar in Egypte zoals je
weet. Het was enorm hoeveel respect en belangstelling wij gekregen hebben van de
Egyptenaren iedere keer wij met hen in het Arabisch konden converseren. Wij zelf
waren aangenaam verrast toen we constateerden dat we ons eigenlijk op alle
gebieden uit de slag konden trekken. taxi nemen, afdingen, hoteletje reserveren,
op restaurant gaan, over koetjes en kalfjes praten ........ enz enz. In Egypte
zijn wij in elk geval geslaagd in ons examen !!

gisteren speciaal naar Brussel gereden om me het "Turks zonder
moeite" aan te schaffen. Ik had al de franstalige versie, maar jouw
Nederlandstalige bewerking biedt een duidelijke meerwaarde. Een aanrader voor
elke oriëntaal-ist!

Sitenizi iki gundur inceliyorum, cok begendim. Cok kapsamli, ozellikle Turk
lehcelerini ogrenmek isteyenler icin ve bilgisini artirmak isteyenler icin cok
faydali. Sizi bu basarili calismanizdan dolayi cok cok tebrik ediyorum.
Ben tip doktoruyum. 1991 Yilinda Azerbaycan ve Ozbekistan'a gittim. Daha
sonra Ozbekce'yi ogrenip "Ozbekceyi Ogreniyoruz / Ozbekcani Organamiz" diye bir
kitap hazirladim (254 sayfa). O yillarda sizin cok medhinizi
duydum. Galiba
bir TV kanalinda cikmissiniz, cok guzel Turkce konusuyormussunuz, cok dil
biliyormussunuz diye herkes bahsediyordu. Bugun sizinle, yani sizin sitenizle
tanismis olmaktan mutluyum.
Son yillarda Turk halki kendi ekonomik ve siyasi sorunlariyla cok mesgul
oldugu icin Turk lehcelerine ilgi azaldi. Ama universitelerde az cok bir ilgi
her zaman devam ediyor.
Biz Turkiye'de "Son Uyari" isimli aylik bir gazete cikariyoruz. Dini,
tasavvufi, siyasi icerikli yazilara yer veriyoruz. Ayrica sitemizde muhtelif
kitaplar var. Eger sitemizi inceler de, Turkce yayinlar arasinda yer verirseniz
memnun oluruz.
Guzel calismalarinizda basarilar dileriz.
