Pat was born January 13th, 1965. Therefore, it is only natural that he likes bands such as Journey and Heart, being a child of his time. But he's into all kinds of metal: the more recent bands he has mentioned umpteen times are Cradle Of Filth and Dimmu Borgir. It might already be well-known that Patrick has travelled across the USA in 1988, because this journey was one of the topics in his interview with the Belgian metal-zine "Spincity" (issue 2). He crossed the country from West to East to broaden his horizon and look for new upcoming bands. That's how he started to know the people behind bands like Exodus, Forbidden, Hexx, Metal Church,... These contacts come in handy when you've got a metal show to run: just check out the interviews! His weekly activity is to construct, and I quote: "the best metal show in Belgium". End of quote. This metal show has been menacing the radiowaves for many a year... In 1981, it all started on local radio "Aktief" (which is a nice pun: "radio active") in Oosteeklo. Another quote: "Overdrive is the oldest and shall always be the best! Forget about the rest! Only muthas survive!" Who are we to question this? I know my mother still lives, so I take the whole quote to be truthful. Patrick's only goal in life is... "Nothing really... Just having fun, supporting the underground till death, and hoping to please every band the best way I can." Even if that includes deeds of the flesh? I wonder... As for the photographs on this page, the last four ones were shot during the Dynamo Open Air Festival 1999. The first one, I'll have to ask... For those of you that do not have a copy of that Spincity I mentioned: shame on you! Get down on yer knees, and thank me, for I leeched it and put it right here!
