SMOKEY SALMON PATE
Ingredients:
- 1 c Salmon (15oz)
- 2/3 c Cottage cheese, low fat
- 1/4 ts Liquid smoke seasoning
- 1 tb Lemon juice
- 2 tb Onion -- minced
- 2 tb Olives, ripe -- finely chopped
- 1 t Worchestershire sauce
- 1/2 ts Paprika
Preparation:
- Drain salmon and chop fine, or mash with a fork.
- Press cottage cheese through a strainer, or blend smooth, combine with salmon and remaining ingredients.
- Mix well.
- Cover and chill for at least one hour.
- Serve with melba toast or party rye.
