- 4 c Red Wine
- 1 1/2 c Water
- 3 oz Sugar
- 1 Cinnamon stick
- 3 Cloves, whole
- 2 Lemons
- 1 Orange
- Peel the lemons and the orange real fine and keep the juice for something else.
- Mix wine, water, cinnamon, cloves, sugar, lemonpeel and orange peel in a pot.
- Heat, until very hot but DO NOT BOIL.
- Discard the seasons and peel and serve very hot.
- Decorate with a slice of lemon if desired.
