Champagne Punch
Ingredients:
- 3 T. lemon juice
- 2 T. sugar
- 2/3 bottle sauterne, chilled
- 1 bottle champagne, chilled
- Maraschino cherries
- Lemon Peel
Preparation:
- Dissolve sugar in a few drops of water.
- Add lemon juice and sauterne and mix well.
- Just before serving, add champagne but do not stir.
- Pink champagne makes the drink prettier.
- Garnish with cherries and lemon peel.
