Cafe Brulot
Ingredients:
- Small strip of finely pared orange peel
- 1" cinnamon stick
- 1 clove
- 1 t. brown sugar
- 6 oz. black coffee
- 2 T. brandy
Preparation:
- Put the orange peel, cinnamon stick, clove, sugar and coffee in a small pan and gradually bring to just below boiling point.
- Strain into a warmed coffee cup or heatproof glass.
- Warm the brandy in a soup ladle, ignite and carefully pour, flaming, into the hot coffee.
