Cider and Champagne Cup
- 1 lb. strawberries, sliced peaches or other fresh fruit
- 2 pints medium sweet cider
- 2 liqueur glasses brandy
- Ice cubes
- Sugar to taste
- 1 pint Champagne (or other sparkling wine)
- Steep the strawberries or other fruit in the cider and brandy for 1 hour or longer before needed.
- Just before serving, add ice and sugar to taste.
- Finally, add the champagne or other wine.
