Hot Ginger Wine
- 2 tablespoons finely chopped crystallized ginger
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1 bottle 750 milliliters dry red wine
- 1/2 cup medium dry sherry
- In 2 quart saucepan heat ginger, honey and 1/4 cup water to boiling over high heat.
- Reduce heat to low; cover and simmer 5 minutes.
- Add wine and sherry.
- Heat over medium heat until warm.
