Chef's Barbeque Sauce
Ingredients:
- 1 c Oil
- 2 1/2 c Onions, finely chopped
- 1 1/2 c Brown sugar
- 5 T Prepared mustard
- 3 t Salt
- 5 T Worcestershire
- 5 c Catsup
- 3 1/3 c Celery, cut fine
- 1/2 c Vinegar
- 3 pt Water
Preparation:
- Saute the onions and celery in the oil without browning.
- Add all other ingredients.
- Simmer for 30+ minutes.
- Thicken with cornstarch, as desired.
- Very good with weiners, or other appetizers.
