Preselection buttons: - When you are tuned in to a station and you push a preselection button for more then half a second a 'beep' sounds and the current frequency/station is linked to this button. When in FM the software will try to change the button caption with the stationname if the parameter CaptionIsFMStationName=1, if no name is present the frequency is set as caption or the parameter CaptionIsFMStationName=0, in AM the caption always changes into the tuned frequency. - You can manually change the button captions, open the .ini file with notepad and replace the numbers by the stationnames you prefer. The stationlists are also textfiles that you can manually change with notepad. Make sure that you close CPCTuner when you start editing the ini files. - When a preset button is linked to a frequency, its automatically marked as pressed when the frequency changes. Others: - If you want to start a station scan make sure that you push and hold the button for more then half a second. This is installed to prevent a scan when you press the button by accident. - The buttons <<, >> scan for the next station. - If you want to stop the scanning process, click the button again. - The buttons < and > step the frequency down/up. - You can view the stationlist when you push the button, the list closes when you push the button again. - With the stationlist its also possible to select stations, simply click them with the mouse. - When you click on the mute led the sound mutes, click again to enable it. - When you click on the stereo led stereo is switched off, click again to enable it. - If you want to go to a station manually, simply move the slider to the desired frequency, when released the module tunes in to that frequency. - This version containes support for RoadRunner. - RR Install: + Unzip the contents of the file CPCTuner.ZIP in C:\CPCSuite\... (!IMPORTANT!: this betaversion uses fixed paths for now, make sure its there or it simply doesn't work!) + Rename the file 'RR Path'\HQCT\RRHQCT.exe to 'RR Path'\HQCT\RRHQCT.ORI, where 'RR Path' is the full path in which RR is installed, exp C:\Program Files\RoadRunner. + Copy the file C:\CPCSuite\RRHQCT.EXE to 'RR Path'\HQCT\RRHQCT.exe + Thats all, now start RR and click on radio, CPCTuner.exe should start minimized and the tuner will start after a few seconds. + Of course CPCTuner can still be used as a standalone program.+ To uninstall: delete the file 'RR Path'\HQCT\RRHQCT.exe and rename the file 'RR Path'\HQCT\RRHQCT.Original to its original name. - The image can be replaced, adjust the name in the CPCTuner.ini file, make sure that you respect the pathnames. - If you want to embed CPCTuner into your application, adjust the folder size in CPCTuner.ini, change Heigth and Width as you like. - When CPCTuner closes the sound is muted, if you want the tuner to continue playing change the parameter OffIsMute in CPCTuner.ini, set it to 0. - All settings are saved when the program stops. - When living in the USA set the Continent parameter in the ini file to USA, EU for Europe. AM and FM functions are all identical, except for automatic station name detection. Disclaimer: Use the program as you like, nothing is prohibited except selling it!
