In this video we want to show you how
to delete a workspace on eclipse.
In this case we have created tree workspaces in the past. One of them
isn(t used annymore.
Lets have a look. Click file - select switch workspace. this opens a selector to tree defined workspace paths. Now we want to delete the path to the workspace video because we no longer use it... To do this we close the eclipse program. And we go to the location of the directory : configuration - click on it and open the directory settings. In this map we find the file : org.eclipse.ui.ide.prefs and we open it. Here the tree paths to the tree diferent workspaces are defined. The n you can see here stands for "new" and the"j" right behind it refers to the drive on witch this workspace is stored. Next we select the path we want to remove from the program and delete it. We save the file and close it. Lets restart eclipse to see the effect of the changes we've made. As you can see the path to the videos space is not showing anymore. And also here the path is deleted. However notice that if you diden't alreaddy delete the directory video's itself and you want to get rid of it, you still have to delete it manualy. |
