Dutch) |  Arrival Marathon Visé 2010 I started running the weekend after the baptism of my eldest son Wim, September 1976. The first years: hilly runs of 8-15km, twice a week. After my move to Janssen Pharmaceutica, because of work the frequency fell back to 10km once a week. Every now and than I increased training to 3-4/week, but the serious stuff started in October 1997 when I started working with Peter Lauper, a passionate runner. I got the passion for good now and increased training to 40-100km a week, culminating into the NYC Marathon on November 5th, 2000 (the story of a marathon). And another marathon in Berlin (the story of another marathon) in 2006, and two in Antwerp (2007 and 2008), another one in Berlin 2009, and the finest in Visé 2010.
