This downloader tool was made entirely in Python. The actual downloading is done by youtube-dl, an open-source video downloading tool. The GUI was made using the PyQt5 framework.
SMART CONVERTING
Youtube-dl automatically transcodes your videos into the correct format when necessary, using open-source tool ffmpeg. Supported formats include MKV, MP4, M4A and MP3.
