Fire

People often asked me what I found so fascinating about Fire. The truth is I do not really know. I love the colours, first of all. And everyone has to agree the way Fire moves up and down, and left and right, has a very hypnotising effect. Fire is not a bad thing. In most cases it even looks cozy! Why else would we buy candles, or sit by a bonfire or a fireplace in the house? The way the light dances, and the cracking of the wood has a very relaxing effect. Even the smell of a small Fire has its appeal.
And since Fire fascinates so many people, I tend to say my Fire magic is the most popular when I do a show. Think what an effect Firebreathers or Firedancers have on people, especially at night! Fire is beautiful. Yes, it can be terrible as well. Just think of forestfires, to give only one example. But so often a dangerous thing can be so beautiful: lightning, the sea, a black panther and so on.
