Genealogy research
- GeneaNet
- An excellent site with tons of free information, also for Europe.
- FamilySearch
- The LDS's genealogy search engine. I also use their quite good PAF software.
- RootsWeb
- Unfortunately too much data returned links to its sibling pay-site
- Programme de recherche en démographie historique
- I've recently discovered this site; even though its information isn't free (but not that
expensive either), it contains a wealth of information from Québec parishes up to 1800.
- Automated Genealogy
- A volunteer effort transcribing the Canadian 1901 census.
- Soldiers of the First World War - Canadian Expeditionary Force
- A few Québec Bliers were drafted. Unfortunately the project has only
partially finished
processing the files starting with the letter 'B'.
- Cimetière Notre-Dame-des-Neiges
- A few Québec Bliers are buried here. Unfortunately I haven't been able to identify
all of them.
Genealogy pages
