The S:AAB Intelligence Center aims at providing technical information of most aspects of the show. This site does not cover episode guides, character profiles and such. The focus lies on tech stuff, specs and explaining things. Enjoy! Note: I am in the process of re-working large portions of this site. Some pages are temorarily unavailable.

For those of you who have absolutely no idea what "Space: Above and Beyond" (or S:AAB) is about : hear this!
It is a television show of exceptional quality telling the tale of a futuristic war, but not just any war, and not just anywhere. It's a war drama, set in the future, in the year 2063. A squadron of young Marine Lieutenants are confronted on a daily basis with the atrocities of a war, fought against an alien race, advanced, bloodthirsty, and in a way very scared of human progress. We call them the Chigs. A company called Aerotech, so powerfull, it could've easily started the war just to make a profit, doesn't make life easier for our Marines. A race of Artificial Intelligence droids will intrigue you with their unconventional look on Life. Put it all together, and you have one hell of a mixture for some great scenarios. Spice up with wonderful actors, who are very talented (you may have seen them guest starring in the X Files and on Millenium), very dedicated and very believable, and your show should have an unbreakable reputation. If it weren't for the high cost (moving huge sets from Australia to the US, astounding special effects and incredible computer generated imagery by the guys at Area51) and a so-called lack of mass interest (dixit Fox Television, the ones who aired the show for the first time) the series might've seen a second season. I still am convinced that the series DOES deserve a second season, and a third and a fourth... Fox doesn't.

Semper Fidelis,
Robin "Robbel" Leysen
