SSOP-01
  1. The Radio Room, upon reception of OPO, logs reception and transmits transmits hard-copy to the ship's Commodore. Alternatively, ship's Command formulates OPO to execute OPLAN.
    Location: Deck 7.
  2. Commodore briefs Staff in presence of Flag Officer. G2 and G3 elaborate on OPO. Time permitting, G2/G3 will use three scenario's in a confrontation (this is a small simulation or war game that allows to answer various "What if?" questions). G2/G3 will score various scenario's and rank them accordingly. One scenario will be put forward as a recommended scenario. Recommended scenario is formalised as CONOPS. Staff present CONOPS to Commodore. If needed, Sqdn Commanders will already be present. Commodore decides on solution to retain. G2/G3 finilase OPLAN.

  3. OPLAN elaboration takes place in the War Room. All available information is processed here. Additional planning can be done in the Chart Room, adjacent to the War Room.
