Sir Psyko & his Monsters
This old-school psychobilly gang from Austria is a relatively new band. They formed in 2006, woke up the rock‘n’roll scene with their 2008 debute-album (“Zombie Rock“) and released another psychobilly hammer in the middle of 2010 called “Reapers Tale”. Both records are loaded with superb and mainly fast psychobilly/rock ’n’ roll with here and there a dash of sax, harmonica or accordion. On the one hand, all songs kick some serious butt and on the other hand they all got these very infectious rhythms, great sing-a-long choruses and loads of superb melodies that’ll want to make you dance the chickenstrut. Naked offcourse and with a pink umbrella up your arse. What we mean is, these guys will wreck the stage and will prove to you all they are one of the best and most exciting psychobilly-acts of the moment.
Their last lp was recorded with and in the studio of P. Paul Fenech and they can reckon Köften from Mad Sin among their fans. This will be their first gig in Belgium so you really don’t want to miss this! They’ll leave you ape-shit (take our word for it) or like they phrase it theirselves : “Psychobilly is our life,let’s wreck, let’s drink, let’s have dirty nights. We are addicted bone for bone to the dark side of rock ‘n’ roll.“
