GOOGLE  is a wonderful instrument. Just type the name of any Camellia flower, garden, or website - and presto, there you are, often there is an image too of what you are looking for.
But - what if you don't know what name exactly to search for? Well, a list of links is still useful sometimes.
This is a selection of some Camellia sites and pages, that you may find worth visiting. They are grouped by subject - please click any link to go there.
You can return to this page by clicking the "back" button on your browser.

In Europe:

For the ICS, the late Klaus Paper was working on a world-wide system of maps, showing the Camellia gardens and growing conditions for each country. Sadly, his untimely death put a stop to this. A few results of his unfinished work on Europe can still be found on the Web: here are those maps - for Germany, Italy (Lago di Como, Lago di Lugano,) Jersey, and Portugal. Our thanks to all who helped Klaus with these maps.
For Germany, info on the gardens can also be found on the ICS-Germany/Austria Website.
For Belgium and Holland, look at the page "Our Region".
In Switzerland, the Parco Botanico del Gambarogno is well worth seeing.
In France, there is the Botanical Garden of Nantes (Jardin des Plantes).
In the UK, there are camellia "National Collections" in Cornwall and Devon:
Mount Edgcumbe
Antony Woodland Garden
Marwood Hill Gardens
Interesting collections can also be seen in Wisley and in the Valley Gardens, as well as in Exbury Gardens.

In the US, some of the most famous are:
The Massee Lane Gardens
The Harry P. Leu Gardens
The Huntington Gardens
The Descanso Gardens
The Norfolk Botanical Garden
