About this Site

Every effort has been made to keep this site user-friendly, simple, and small, so that in case of a dial-up modem it does not excessively fatten your telephone bill. It is kept free of any advertising and does not contain gimmicks that try to immobilize your browser, freeze your PC, or infect you with cookies, pop-ups, or adware.
The logo is a borrowed *.jpg image from the ICS website; the background is a *.gif-image used by gracious consent of  Don Hyatt.
This site is entirely run by volunteers and is non-profit. We want to thank all people who have helped us, perhaps unknowingly, to set it up. In particular, Don Hyatt and Klaus Peper (who has now sadly left us) have been a source of inspiration.
We welcome any links to any of our pages. Photographs and text by Roger Van Loon may be used freely on the Web and elsewhere; any other part of the site may be copyrighted.
