Born 15 March 1952 in Diest, Belgium
1975 - 1979 : study at the St. Lukas Academy of Fine Arts, Brussels :
department of graphic art : with distinction.
As from 1978 independent visual artist, illustrator, cartoonist, computer
applications of graphic art and multimedia.
As from 1991 teaching visual education, graphic art, computer
applications and multimedia at the Portaelsschool of Fine Arts in
Vilvoorde and the Academy of Fine Arts of Liedekerke.
1981 : acquisition of a drawing by the Belgium State.
1981 - 1982 : project and realisation of a mural painting for the
Municipal School nr 9 in order by the city of Vilvoorde.
Realisation of illustrations for several publishers like N.U.V. Playboy the
Netherlands, T.U.M. publishing house Antwerp, Standaard Antwerp,
De Vries - Brouwers Antwerp, Facet Antwerp etc.
Realisation of two cartoon books : "Alice" and "La philosophie dans
le boudoir" published by Loempia Antwerp in 1989 and 1991 and by
Magic Strip Editions Paris in 1989 and 1990.
1997 - 1998 : realisation of a multimedia rock project with his
students of the Academy of Liedekerke and the
rock-groups : "Shoq", "Peevish" and "Sludge Factory".
1998 - 1999 : realisation of the multimedia project "The body of the
earth in relation with the human body" ( video and
performance ) with his students of the Academy of
Liedekerke as a tribute to the avant - garde artist
Marina Abramovic.
1999 - 2000 : realisation of the multimedia project "Heads - hate -
commercials" ( performance "heads and hate": SMAK
Ghent, video "commercials" ) with his students of the
Academy of Liedekerke in collaboration with Marina
Abramovic.
2001- 2002 : realisation of the multimedia project "Touch Me" ( video and performance )
with his students of the Academy of Liedekerke.
2002-2003 : realisation of the multimedia project "To Be or not to Be"
( video and performance ) with his students of the Academy of Liedekerke.
