We can no longer imagine a world without graphics; both
two- and three-dimensional.
These graphics, however, are represented on paper or
screen, which reduces our image back to TWO dimensions.
There is still nothing like the tangible spaciousness of a good
scale model. This is being reflected in practice: (good)
architecture, industrial projects, museums and many other
applications.
Cost is always the main issue here: scale modelling is a time
consuming and labour intensive occupation. Current 3d-
plotters can't offer a worthy alternative, due to high cost
and limited applictions.
SCRATCHBUILT tries to present an alternative.
How does SCRATCHUILT work or how is the scale model
established? For bigger assignments, we usually work
together with exhibition builders.
Of course, you can coordinate a project of your own.
