How was this model established?
primarily, the a copy of the map (scale 1 : 25 000) was enlarged.

Next step: 2 sections were made and the perpendiculars were added. Two panels were made (north-east and south west).
Several sections were made like this. The more sections were made, the more accurate the model would be.
Because the relatively simple landscape, only about 16 of them were made.

Ordinary cardboard and paper were used for the inner side (not visible).















3. glueing the first panels

The 4 side panels were glued to the base. The top layer was finished with modellers paste and painted afterwards

Although this model is made of cardboard, we normaly use wood.
